So are these the parts I want?
Hey all,
Posted before about needing more ability to hook up on launch and get rid of wheel hop/launch slopiness in the rear end; are these the two parts I would want? I've got a 2000 GT convert.

i wouldnt recooment the top yet in the rear end...if you hook to well you will rip your torque boxes out....def BIG BIG BIG money to fix.......need those welded b4 u put to much stress on **** like that,...(torque boxes are what the upper rear control arms sit in)

Welding the boxes isn't that hard though. I have both uppers and lowers on stock boxes and have had no issues yet, but before the stickey tires go on the boxes will be welded.
I went to www.blueovalindustries.com and got mine, they arn't aluminum but they are ALOT cheaper than the steeda etc ones, and do the exact same thing. There is a weight difference but its not THAT much, and they seem to work really well.
While your at it, get some subframe connectors to stiffen up the car, I noticed an immeditate differnce in mine.

I actually already have subframes... they do help, for sure.
Wait, so you are saying I'll rip my torque boxes out? That sounds rather severe... what the hell kind of product does that to a car? Are you guys sure about that?

For the uppers, non-adj will work well until you really want to start fine tuning the rear suspension. I just switched from non-adj uppers to double adj uppers and it's making alot of difference. With the adj uppers you can set pinion angle.

Sorry, I've been burned a bunch by this car so am very very very touchy

I got the expensive ones by steeda on ebay for like 130 bucks fyi... they were perfect. Also might want to look into drag springs and adj. shocks and struts... only crappy thing with drag springs is while they xfer weight like no other - they don't make for the nicest ride.
