Well, I just checked the tranny fluid, its the normal light red color, smells normal, and completely covers the little white part with all the dots on it. The car was run about half an hour before i checked it, and the engine was still nice and warm.
So the fluid appears to be clean, and check out?

+1 on the tranny cooler
I don't think the injectors or fuel filter will have anything to do with it.
leaky injectors? i dont know
if it was your fuel filter it would be trouble at idle, not WOT but it sounds like a fuel delivery problem to me
just a guess

i dont think fuel is the problem, hed be having problems no matter what rpm hes at.. id check ur throttle cable and the throttle body itself, check to make sure no vacuum lines have disconnected (happened to me and ran lean) get some carb cleaner spray the inside of the tb and clean it.
