There are a pair of clips I believe on the caliper that are, well, anti-rattle clips for the brake pad. One of these may be missing?

My car make's a sound similiar to a tire with a broken belt. But I tookthe front tire off and switched it with the back but no change. It's on the passenger side, I'm probaly going to change the bearing and see if it goes away. Any input would help and sorry I know this may be off topic but I figured I'd throw it out there.

I don't think it's your bearings, since they make a whirring, or a howling noise when they go bad.. If you have bearings that are clanking, then you have bigger problems..

How many miles are on the pads?? It could be that one of the clips could be very worn, or maybe even the backing plate is loose..

It could also be something like bushings, or even a blown dampener..

Make sure your Emergency Midget System is secure. He could be trying to escape. . . .

OMG.... I think you guys just solved my problem LOL. Last summer I changed my brakes on the front. A couple of weeks later I started hearing a rattling but if I lightly put the brakes on it would go away. I am going to look at that next weekend!
