Default Spark adv

I want to spark adv my car, but I'm a little worried about 2 things:

1) My car has 105k on the clock - worried about the engine blowing
2) Would the spark plugs go sooner since they are pre-firing?

Those are the two "myths" I heard - just unsure how to proceed.

Thanks all!

A higher milage car might be more prone to detonation because of built up carbon deposits in the combustion chamber..

Other than that, go ahead & advance your timing if you're willing to pony up extra $'s for premium gas [:@] & keep your ears open for knocking

Ya just listen for any problems, if you have many mods you should concider a dyno tune.

1) Like Grey Stang said...2) Where do these things come from? That's the silliest one I've heard this week, heck maybe this month?
