sorry for posting in the 4.6 section but no one checks that audio section. how do you get the cd and tape deck out for the mach 460 head unit... i am using a coat hanger for the keys and it is locking in but when i pull it wont come out, do i have to take off the casing around it?

no, just make sure both sides are in good, and wiggle it, its stubborn to come out.

me and my agri teacher and a few other people have tried for about an hour and the damn thing wont come out... any1 know of an easier way to hook up the rc jacks?

does the coat hanger thing actually work? they are locking in there pretty hard but after i pull for a while they just end up popping out

i tried the same thing and it never worked. what i did was just go up to best buy and talked to one of the dudes in the audio section and asked him if he coulddo it.he told me just to pull around and he did it. they actually sell the keys for it there but if u don't want to spend 15 bucks to take out ur stereo just do what i did.

i went and bought the keys.. it was only 4 bucks. how do u wire an amp to this head unit?
