I'm rebuilding right now and think I'm going to go ahead and do cams while it's torn down. I need Stage II. Which brand?? Comp Cams?, Crane?, ModMax? Other? ModMax is about $395 instead of the $550+ for the others. Why? Why Not?? Thanks.

Maybe they are cheaper because they are regrinds? Try VT.

Those VT Stage II's look pretty aggressive. There is a .570 lift. I hope my 18.1cc dished pistons will clear?

ptv in modulars doesn't occur in the dish but on the outer skirt so you could dish your pistons to China and still have PTV if your timing is off.

For off the shelf cams i like
VT as was linked already and Crower...or you can get a custom grind.

Here is a picture of a 2V piston with reliefs cut in...notice how far out they are cut so dish has really nothing to do with PTV like on 5.0's Always degree the cams and PTV won't be an issue.
