So, i anticipate having to get a new block when i start to order parts for my rebuild here in about a month or so. I think im gonna need a new block, just cause a piston sounds like it is about to come loose and im sure it has caused some damage. wont know till we geta better look tho.

but anyway, i was on the JEGS website (i think i can get a discount thru them using my dad's company), and i saw the 4.6L block, but everything says 4.6L 2V SOHC.

Isnt it the same block that i have, just with the 4V???

the block they advertise for the 2V SOHC, should work with my 4V DOHC heads shouldnt it???
