so i got my car tuned yesterday and my friend came with me with his 03 GT

his mods are short throw shifter, bbk cai, bbk off road x pipe and magnapack cat-back and he has a diablosport tuner.

he put down 253 rwhp and 292 ft. lbs of tq.

i though these were awesome numbers. i mean the horsepower is nice but what really surprised me was his tq numbers. anyone put down close to these numbers being that close to stock? i think the motor has 40k miles and its a 5 speed. hes a member on here so i will try to have him post some numbers.

That seems a little high to me. I thought our cars dyno at around 230 or so when stock. I don't see that stuff adding 23 hp. If so, that is awesome though.

+1, his torque sounds a little fishy to me...almost 300tq with those mods???

How does the magnapacks sound with that offroad X? I have the packs but can't diecide what I want to do with the midpipe.

it was at dezracing and the car sounds really good. i def recommend an off road x or even h pipe with that cat-back.

my car makes over 400 to to the wheels. just depends how high i heat the bottle up to. but the lowest is 950 to get good numbers. thats through a auto tranny so the block makes alot of power at the crank but its hard to justify through the auto tranny so im in new need of a better block soon. i'm gonna start saving and looking at dssracing and possibly vt engines but i have been talking to dssracing.

your friend must have got a killer tune from that diablo. are you sure thats all he has done to his car, he must have some other kind of mod

come on guys, cai is about 5hp, x pipe no cats and an aftermarket mufflers its about 15hp, and a tune got to give u at least good 10-15, so 23 hp with those mod dont sound to bad, you guys are underestimating our cars.
