Yeah, it's a leak. When you have aftermarket exhaust, especially when you're catless, you'll get a ticking type sound. That's just cylinder fire echoing through the tubes, but it's not too loud and it's only at low RPMs (like 1500 and below). The easy way to tell is to drive past a wall with your windows down. If you hear the ticking from outside like that then it's a leak. If not it's just echo.

The header/ midpipe joints and midpipe/ catback joints are usually foolproof, but loosen them and retighten them starting at the header back. If that doesn't do it, go to an auto parts store and get a stethoscope. It's probably coming from one of the block/ header joints.
