Default Problems to watch for when buying a GT?

Greetings Folks...first post here, great site!

I'm going to be buying a 99-02 GT in the coming weeks. I've been researching quite a bit and there's one major question that I haven't been able to find the answer to.

Is there any major issues that I should be looking out for with the 99-02 GT's, 5spd? Any common problems with the engine, tranny, suspensionetc etc etc that I shold be looking for? Just trying to get aheads up forissues to watch out for.

Thanks forany input.

Just make sure the tranny shifts ok (no grinding) as the tranny in the 01.5+ GT is known for blowing synchros, especially 3rd gear. Also check the throwout bearing (make sure there isnt a squeaking sound when driving it). Other than that just make sure its in good running condition and all that stuff.
