Default shock/strut question - Lakewoods

I've had some Kenny Brown lowering springs sitting around for awhile now and I've been waiting to install at the same time I was going to do a bunch of other stuff, but the main question is I was considering Lakewood drag shocks/struts. I want to improve track performance, but since the car is a DD will the Lakewoods hurt streetability?
