Misfiring + Cracked Manifold?

Misfiring + Cracked Manifold?
My old stock manifold cracked on my 98 GT. So my question is this...I replaced the old one and my car was missing like crazy. I'm wondering if it's common for coolant to leak into the cylinders when the manifold cracks because that's what it felt like to me. It also seemed like something was boiling down in the exhaust which again makes me think I was burning coolant out the exhaust. Let me know if I'm on the right path!

Yup, it does causea misfire. My origional manifold cracked at the thermostate housing causing coolant to leak into my #5,6, and 7 spark plug wells causing the car to run like ****. Go on www.americanmuscle.com there is a replacement manifold with an aluminum cross-over where the coolant flows.

just pull the boots and see if any of them come out wet, from my experience it only takes a little bit of moisture to cause a misfire

Yeah I'm pretty certain it's coolant in the cylinders and I replaced the manifold with a kit from Livernois that has adapters that make it fit perfect to the NPI heads, but I just wasn't sure if the manifold crack would leak the coolant or if it would be the head gasket or something
