Default 1996 mustang gt

i was wonder about how long the 4.6 lasts (miles wise) because im lookin at a 1996 GT with 140,000 but im aonly using it to commute 10 min back and forth from school. Is that to many to use for a daily driver or will it be ok???

i wouldn't trust it. if the car was well maintained, it may be fine. there's never a guarentee with high mileage vehicles though.

They will last as long as they are taken car of. Mine has 105,000 and hasn't had any major problems yet. Me personally, I wouldn't buy a car with that high of mileage though. How much are they asking?

that motor could **** the bed tommorow or could last for ever. It is nearly impossible to say how much life is left in it. Me, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it if it runs good and the price is right. Make sure everything checks out and go for it.

My last '96 GT I took to 160K and it ran awesome. It burnt about 1 qt. of oil between oil changes, but it ran like new.
