Default 00 Mustang Gt heads

I need some help, For some reason my spark plugs fly out..i have already fix the threads in the motor on the heads...it has done this 4 times different spark plugs....now what might be causin this??? i was told maybe the compresion of the motor?? if so how much will it cost me an estimate? i got 120k on the motor..is it better if i start lookin for a new block? i wanted to spend 5k the max in a new motor what route should i go? stock gt build? 5.4 soch? or somethine else???

There are plenty of things you could do.With 120K on the motor I would definatly be looking at some sort of complete rebuild/replacement.

Can you do the work yourself? Thats really going to decide what you can and cannot do. If you can't pull the motor and reassemble it yourself your not gonna have the cash for a decent build.

If you can't do it yourself, your best bet would probably be a stock 99-04 GT engine. You can pick em up fairly cheap at a junkyard, and regardless of your cars year (96-04) it will drop right in. Thats should leave you with plenty of cash left over for some mods if your intersted in that.

If you can do the work yourself, you have alot more options.

Man i was at the same crossroads as you. 120k on the motor and it was blowing plugs. So i rebuilt the top end and resealed the bottom end.
