rear seat removal
i have searched and i found information but when i went to my car i couldn't find the release mechanism. i must be blind...[:@] i want take take top and bottem out.

i have the same problem. i cant find the danged clips to release the bottm seat cushion[:@]

use the seat belt to unhook the clip. The clip is about 6 to 7 inches from the trim of the back seat. Just push in and give it a good yank

Why? From what i understand it does little to no good?
For every 100 pounds you shed you take off .1 from your quarter.. I have never lifted those back seets before but how much could they weigh?

thanks, i just took out the seat, bracket/trunk carpet and head rest. 35 lbs!
