Default Removing axles HELP NOW!!!

We're puttin gears in miller's car right now but we hit a snag. Took out 5/16ths bolt on the inside. Took out the pin that the bolt was holding in that goes through the spider gears. How do you get the C-clips off cause theyres no access to em?

We cant get to em cause there are the big S-clips holding the spider gears in. do they have to come off to get the C-Clips off?

Millers is a 2001 5-spd gt, with an 8.8 in the back.

Your gonna have to remove the caliper, bracket and rotor....abs sensor will have to be move inward(or removed)....after that you can push the axle inward,,and the c-clip should just about drop out....a magnet helps....Be very careful removing or pulling on the abs sensors,,...some break...remove the little 8mm bolts,...twist and pull gently(wd-40) ..but really rusted up,,they can break....

Doing gears isn't the easiest thing to do, by the looks of it and the questions you're asking you probably shouldnt be doing this job, takes someone with expereince to do gears and have them not whine

So ford tech's don't know what teh shims look like??? They shouldnt be working on gears considering it looks like they have no clue what there doing, just because there techs doesnt mean there qualified for every job, once again gears are generally a job you want someone to do that has expereince in doing them, which they apparently have none
