Default Fuel Injectors

If my injectors are "ticking", should I replace them? If so, what kind should I get for a stock 01 GT?

Thanks!

After some searching, I want to try unplugging them one at a time to see if the tick is the injectors and to see which one it is. Are there any good writeups on how to do this? Do I have to unplug one, start the car, check for tick, turn off the car, replug injector, unplug next and so on?

Thanks for any help!

I wouldn't reccommend unplugging an injector. Having no fuel go into a combustion chamber = bad. Are you sure it's not something else ticking? I have never heard on an injector ticking. What mods do you have? Is your car force fed? If not just replace the injectors with OEM replacements.

Well basically I put a screwdriver on the fuel rail and it gets alot louder and clearer. My car is stock. I did some searching on here and that's where I saw the stuff about unplugging them, etc. Some people say it's normal. They just started doing this within the last couple of weeks and Ford said nothing was wrong. It's just annoying to me to hear it and it seems worse when the RPMs go up.

Sometimes the pulse of the injector is loud.

Would replacing them get rid of it? Or is this something I'll have to tune out?

Replacing them might help.

Would these work:

Would I need to do anything? I assume that these 24# ones are larger than smy stock ones.

If you change the size of your injectors, you will need a tune to calibrate the MAF.

What are the size of the stockers? Any good places to get them cheap? Thanks for the info!
