Default list price for cobra

im considering selling my 1998 cobra, ive gone on kbb.com but you cant add mods on there so im just looking for some input.

32,500 miles
new convertible top
new thermastat
new clutch
04 svt rims
custom upholstered 04 replica seats
tint
clarion indash dvd player
infiniti speakers
new bridgestone wide oval tires
k&n cold air
magnaflow exhaust

i live in florida...a general starting asking price is what im looking for. i have all paperwork. thanks.

Unless you find someone who really knows what your mods do. You won't get[/align]much more than book value for it.And most of your mod's that you listed are everyday[/align]parts that are needed to drive the car.I used to sell cars for 5 years.And you probably already know.You won't get anything near what you put into it. If anything,the mileage will help the most.[/align]That's my opinion though...[/align]

yeah man i got ya. the book value on its around 13 and im on autotrader seeing the same car with a TON more mileage for around 18 in several instances. i just dont get it.

What price are you looking at under KBB? Trade-in, private seller, or retail/dealer price? 18K is probably the dealer price for your car. If that's not it, then it's probably the collector factor people are putting into it. KBB is not the best for limited edition/production cars.

Your car sounds like it's very nice. Being that it's/you're from Florida(lucky bastard).[/align]The paint won't be chipped all to hell. You could probably sell it here(Alberta,Canada) for more than $18k. There are 04 coupes selling around here for $35-$38k(joke) Must see some pictures...[/align]
