i dont see why F/I is a pipe dream. if you save your money from "full" bolt ons, you could have the money for a centri, especially a used one. thats what i did, and for probably about a similar price, i have ~350 rwhp. it just sucked saving for one big mod instead of being satisfied every once in a while with a small little add on lol.

just seems actually better though, dollar per horsepower.
+1

All you have to do is have disipline and instead of buying this here and that there just save it all, drive a stocker for awhile, and be done with it.

well think of it this way, stock the new edges get anywhere from 210-220hp at the wheels. So you added anywhere from 38-48 hp. Just think of how much hp u have at the crank now. [8D]

I can't say I disagree, but for some of us staying NA is a choice, not a lack of options. That's when bolt ons make sense. When expectations are realistic, disappointmentsdon't happen as often.

the TQ might be a little low, but I don't see a tune in your mod list.

How did you spend 3k though, paying for installs?

7 more hp and 7 more ft lbs of tq than me! That's enough power to get you into the 12's with the right setup.

My car dyno'd at 257 rwhp and 297 rwtq with mods in sig and am satisfied with the car the way it is now. IMHO you need a better tune and that might unlock some of the torque you seem to be missing. I honestly think I am done with the car, I just can't justify building the bottom end and spending the money on a blower. If I do anything else power wise to the car it'll be a 50 shot wet kit.

Most people on here with 300's-400 WHP dont have a Built Bottom End.

Looks like you got slapped in the face by a N/A 2v...or slapped in the wallet.

It's F/I or goslow. It's really expensive to build a 300+rwhp N/A 2v...and even at that it'll still be hard to compete with most people on the road.

Your first mistake was midlengths. Why did you leave the extra HP on the table by not getting LT's? Add some UDP's& LT's to the equation and you'll almost certainly hit 270+rwhp.

Save.
Save.
Save.
Spend.

F/I

but 800 for nitro is a quick fix that will get you around for the time being
until you get your f/i.

Also going with 4.10 will cost you on a dyno. And remeber a dyno is just a tuning tool thats it. Some dyno's are more generous than others. So don't beat your self up about the numbers. How it runs on the street and of course the track is a far better indicator of how the car is performing.
