Default ABS Warning and Traction Light

Has anyone's ABS warning light came on? Also, my traction control off button stays lit as well, has anyone had this problem before?? If it helps any, I have 18x9 wheels on 255/40 18 tires in the front and 18x10.5 on 295/35 18 tires on the back with a 10mm wheel spacer. Any help is appreciated.

not sure about the traction light but the abs light is almost always you are low on ABS fluid

get dot 3....i think even dot2 will work, but if its 95% full and not 100% the light will go on

are the front and rear tires the same height? When I put my slicks (28" tall) on my car it'll do that because they are taller than the front.

I just check and the diff is only .1" so it's probably not enough to do what my car is doing.

My ABS light has recently come on. Most likely a wheel speed sensor. They aren't cheap either. The stealership wants 30 a piece for the front and 50 a piece for the back. Some brake shops have the diagnostic handheld to check non-engine related DTC's so go have it checked out. That would be the only real way to find out for sure. I am taking mine tomorrow to have it checked. As far as the trac-control light being on... Your trac control is shut off. Has it been on since you bought the car? Or did you buy the car new? It could be shut off in a tune if it was previously owned and tuned.

Well...I bought my car not all that long ago. I drove it for two days before the ABS light came on. Had it checked by the dealer and they said it was probably my passenger side wheel speed sensor. So I bought one put it on myself, had them clear the code....and it came back the same day. All my tires and wheels are the same so....took it back to the dealership and they told me since that didn't fix it, I would need a new ABS module. And because that dang thing costs like 4 or 5 hundred dollars I have not replaced it yet and am still living with the problem. I can tell you that the reason your traction control goes off when the light comes on is because they read off the same sensor. Which is shut off by the car when the service light comes on for ABS. Hope yours is just a sensor or something simple

Also just one other thought....there is a tone wheel on the inside of the brake rotor that looks like a gear or something. Sometimes those will get cracked or damaged and will cause it to read incorrectly, in turn kicking the light on. Good luck!
