Default Torque converter gurus...

I will be installing a BCautomotive 3600 stall in my car soon in hopes to run 12.5's in the 1/4 with my current mods. The previous owner ran a best 13.4 at 108 on stock tires and Ive since added drag radials and BMR upper/lwr c arms. I believe the car will run high 12's as it sits and hoping for a 12.5/108 or so after the converter. What stalls are some of you running and what improvements did you make after the converter? Thanks.

I wish more people were doing these mods as I believe they help an auto a ton. I'm hoping to do this at some point so bump.

Are you going to keep this car N/A? If so i would do a 4000-4200 stall to get the best times...thats what seems to be the best on these N/A modulars especially 4V's

Yeah its gonna be a N/A monster at some point...heads/cams/LTs in the future. I was told that a 3600 would be about perfect as my peak torque would come in at about 700-800 rpms above that. I will definitely have the torque boxes welded and better subframe conectors added too. Im shooting for mid to low 11's in the future and the converter should help get me there.

Did BC tell you what RPM stall to get? Did you show them your dyno graph? Thats the best way to determine what stall you need...They will be doing my TC also but i'm waiting until i'm done before my final dyno then i'll have them hook me up.

My stall is a 3200 from BC and is defiinately a little low... Darrin reccommended me to go higher but Iwas dumb of courseand went with my own opinion. I would say with my limited knowledge, a 3600 would be good for your car if you keep it N/A. Tires are a must though, my 315's don't stand a chance now.
