tick at low mid rpm cant figure out
i was at the track when it hapened the tick starts about 1800 rpm and goes away at 2800 rpm. the tick sounds like its coming from pasanger rear valves but we all know hermonics travel. i have valve coner os and no stuck lifters and rockers look good. my next check will be the flywheel. i like to hear any other sugjestons or thouts

I have the exact same problem and I have no idea where the ticking is coming from. I took it to a dealer and the guy said my supercharger was bouncing up and down. That made me laugh. Then I had a guy who knows what he is talking about look at the car and he couldn't find anything. If you find the problem post it and hopefully it will be the answer to my problem too. Good luck.

It's one of those special little surprises you get for owning a mustang! It's happening to me too! I believe it happens to me MORE during warmer weather rather than cooler.
