Next weekend I'm going to be installing my gears with the help of my mechanic.. I'm also going to replace the clutches because I've become subject to one wheel burnouts.. Anyways my mechanic mentioned that I might need some type of spool.. What I need to know is what all do I need to replace the clutches? Just the clutch packs?

clutch packs, differential fluid, and friction modifier. I think u can get everything as a "clutch rebuild kit", for like 75 bucks. Check out www.americanmuscle.com. i think i saw it there.

correction, theyre 45 bucks. [8D] only problem is i hear theyre kinda difficult to do yourself, and most shops will charge about 250 in labor.

Spools are not a good idea on a daily driver. Just get new clutches and call it a day.
