Will ceramic pads destroy the rotors? I heard your rotors will fail before the pads do.
I have not heard that one.
They are very good pads to get if you do not like brake dust.
I got the Carquest brand as they are Raybestos pads at a cheaper price. I am happy with them so far.

check out iRotors on ebay. They are very nice. Hawk pads are great, I wouldn't buy anything else. The cobra front conversion is a good way to start.

Disk breaks are soo easy to do, I just replaced my two front roters, calipers, caliper brackets, and pads on my ranger. Also alot of the slotted and cross drilled rotorsfor sale on ebay are just oem rotors that people have just slotted and drilled, but that doesn't make them any less functional.

My front brakes are fine, its the rear brakes that I'm replacing. What hawk pads would you recommend? I see they have HPS, HP Plus, and Ceramic.

I just ordered the Bullitt front kit today with stainless steel hoses and cross drilled and slotted rotors for 470 shipped from speedconcepts.net. also ordered the BAER 13" rear brake upgrade for 300 after tax...overkill but still cheaper than the cobra rear upgrade...

I'm thinking of getting the Powerslot rear rotors and Hawk HPS brake pads. Should total $220 or so. Good deal?
