Default Brake Pads and Rotors

Need to do my brakes as the front and rears are pretty worn down. Any recommendations on brake pads and rotors?

Just did cross drilled rotors on mine recently. Got them off ebay and they are good quality.
Went with ceramic pads to eliminate the brake dust from getting all over the rims. Got these from carquest.

I just got the Cobra brake upgrade kit from buyfordracing.com. I'm getting ready to put it on here shortly.

Will ceramic pads destroy the rotors? I heard your rotors will fail before the pads do.

Are these better than stock rotors?

not to hijack but what all does an install of new brakes intail... I know the rotors are a direct swap but how hard is it to change to new brake pads?

Yes they are in that they get rid of the gases that build up between the padwith normal rotors.
You can get slotted as well but these will wear the pads faster as they "shave" the surface of the pad thus preventing pad glazing. These are great for road racing though.

I painted the "hat" on the rotor with Caliper paint and baked it on with a heat gun so that with the rims on you won't see a rusty hat section like with most rotors.

It isn't hard but you do have to take off the caliper mounting bracket in order to get the rotors off. You can't simply take off the rotor if the caliper is off like on many other cars. (This is for the rear).
The front is pretty easy compared to the rears.
