what is the best muffler with an x-pipe?

what is the best muffler with an x-pipe?

I was reading in my mustang magazine and i believe that they said that a 2 stage like flowmaster or something is better with an x pipe and a free flow exaust is better with an h pipe...am i correct?

rule of thumb for sound

straight through resonator(loudmouth, stinger, packs) = xpipe
chambered muffler(flowmaster, mac) = hpipe

HOWEVER I just so happen to have an x pipe with my mac catback which is chambered and sounds absolutely sick.

I feel that the x pipe really makes it sound so much more pissed off than an h pipe. But hey it's all about what YOU personally like
