Default godawful howling

i pulled the snorkle off the intake of my bullitt and now it makes the absolute worst howling sound ive ever heard from a car. extremely loud and annoying as hell. also when it does this the rpms rise and fall from 1500 to 0 and it ends up stalling.

what the hell do i do?

Did it happen during a full moon? You might have the special Werewolf edition Bullit. But seriously its probably a vacuum line. Check to see if their all connected. Idle problems can be associated with loose lines.

Actually, I haven't seen the inside of that box, not sure what it does BUT if you follow that line to the upper intake manifold, you will find the IAC... pinching off this line causes the IAC to force to open farther to maintain idle. Try removing the IAC and spraying carb cleaner in it to get all the gunk out. Obviously disconnect the electrical connection first, and let it dry totally before reinstalling it.

Give thata shot.
