89-90 is actually cheaper here in Nebraska then 87 because corn is subsidized.
lol... I'm not sure I follow that... it seems like you just told me birds fly south for the winter because sprite has lemon lime flavor. [&:]

is it an ethanol blend in the 89 octane and not for the 87?

As your car ages the injectors become less efficient, our fuel filters get clogged all the time, gas quality is not always as good as it's labeled. Why detonate 87 gas under these conditions when you can play it safe with 89 or 93??
Things detonate because of heat not because of quality of gas or fuel filters. It's why forced intake needs higher octane because when you compress air it heats up. The hotter the air is the greater chance the fuel will pre-ignite in the cylinder prior to the spark plug igniting. The explosion in the cylinder causes a head on collision as opposed to a push on the piston.

I remember the first day I got my carI read that manual from cover to cover, though I somehow missed the part when it says how to set the speed sensitive volume for the Mach460.
ORIGINAL: Fizzics Boy
how do you do that?
You have to press and hold the power button down and then it will give you the option of setting the speed sensitive volume.
