well i know a guy in chicago which has a skyline, i dont know him but he owns a shop thats how i saw the car. He said he only use it for tracks. So i didnt ask him if its insured or not

No my car is manual. Im not sure what the skyline runs the 1/4 in but i rode in his car and it has a ton of pull to it as its switching gears. I had him off the line, (1st gear?, maybe thats the problem?) Ive been told you get more boost if you start in 2nd gear. I would say he beat me by about 1 car length. I liek 1BAD GTs plan for the timeing and pullies with the gears. Maybe my stock gears is all thats holding me back? I will have to pick up my 3.73s and do the install myself. Any suggestions for good gear manufacturers and best price? Best ive seen is about 150.00$. Maybe part of the problem was I spun my tires quite a bit off the line and fish tailed a bit, the weather here is cold and the ground is damp from the snow we have been getting.

You can have em installed at a good shop for around 250-350 bucks. Make sure you have them put synthetic in there while there doing it (gotta replace the fluid either way), might as well pick up a few more RWHP while your at it (with the syn).

from what i know the skyline is a japanse car and i know a few people around here that get the engines shipped over here and they drop them into 240sx and trust me if that engine was in that G35 he would havt eaten you alive, those engines S13, S14 and i think even an S15 are amazing. they come turboed and put out sick power, my friend is running 12s with his and putting down serious HP numbers. the skyline badge is just like the GT badge to the mustangs-a little more performance driven BUT not the real thing
