Weird front tire wear

RE: Weird front tire wear
Mine are wearing on the right side for each one (inside on the left, outside on the right)... very strange. Car stays very straight and true, but the tires are noisy as hell. My only guess is that my alignment is off, don't be surprised if yours is too. 33k miles on my car and never hit anylarge potholes, no real reason for the alignment to be out, but it happens.

Outside edge where is toe in too high (tires pointing in towards the middle of the car) which means your tires are actually not running straight but at an angle and wearing the outer edge which would be the leading edge.
It could also be too much camber (top of tire tilted out too much) which puts wear on the outer edge as well.
Under inflation will do it and so will your driving habits.
Do you like taking corners real fast a lot?
That will chew up tires.
The tires are noisey because they are wearing incorrectly.
The noise will only get worse as your tires self destruct.

RE: Weird front tire wear
When my tires wore out (fronts had outer edge wear) my car had a shake pretty bad under braking but I also pulled to the left, braking or not. Took the car in and the toe was out of alignment. Got it aligned with the new wheel/tire install and it rides like a dream now. Nothing wrong with the brakes whatsoever and I swore I had warped rotors.
