i just got my suspension kit today and went to the local speed shop to pick up some mac c/c plates. did any one install this setup on their own? i got quoted 75/hr for about 5 hours = i want to do it myself!

any tips?

5 hours? WTF.

The springs are easy, the shocks are easy, no way it would take 5 hours.

Take off the front wheels
unbolt the brake caliper
put a jack under front Lower Arm
Unbolt the top strut nut, slowly lower the jack. Unbolt the bottom of the strut and take it out
Install new spring and strut in reverse fashion.
Put wheels back on

Same process for the rear.

no, these are lowering springs, struts, shocks, and sway bars too

I was quoted 3 hours but it didn't include sway bars but did include front control arms and rear lower control arms.

I was also told that it might be less than that depending on how much corrosion was encountered.
