RE: Synthetic Oil
ive always stuck with mobil1, ive never had bad luck with it, ive used it sense ive owned the car andive actually seen the inside of my motor and how clean it is so i have no reason to change, the other syntheic brands try to make it seem they are better than mobil1 with all their technical crap, whatever. i used mobil1 5-30 and the mobil1 filter (M1-210)

while we're on the topic - anyone used Penzoil Platinum Full Synthetic? I saw a commercial for it today with it's "adaptive molecules" that supposedly don't break down as easily and helps everything run better. Most likely it's just an advertising scheme but it was interesting. I probably won't try it since I use Mobil1 but I thought I'd ask.

Personally I use Mobil 1 but I'm thinking of moving over to Penzoil with a Motorcraft or Mobil filter.

Cenpeco if you can afford it. That's what the Alcohol pulling tractor boys use.The Silver Bullet boys were getting one weekend on Mobil 1 and had to replace the bearings, but they can run a whole year without changing a set with Cenpeco. It's awful high though[:@]
