I'm 99.9% sure you will need a new computer.

Yeah you will need a new computer.

Your 2v EFI is set up to put out a certain amount of air and fuel, and since the DOHC has 4v, It requires more air and fuel. Your computer will not match up, and the car will not run right at all. <<<My theory...

the question is why?

Forged shortblock - $4000
Supercharger - $3500
Tune - $500
Making 500+rwhp

or

Cobra Motor - $8000
Engine Swap - $3500
Tune - $500

Making 390rwhp

wow you're pretty far off right there. and yes you can use your current GT computer, it will need reflashed, but it will work. Also where are you getting $3500 for just dropping an engine in?? It's easy, pull the current one, drop the new 4.6 in,not manymods needed for 2v/4v swap as most poeple think.

LOL, I hope you're adding a large shot of nitrous then.
