have an 02 gt with a slp loudmouth exhaust. can i swap the mufflers ut while keeping the piping the same?? if so what mufflers??

Should be able to with the "modular" set-up of these systems. Just drop the clamps, push in the new ones and re-hook the clamps.

Aren't SLP a straight through design? All the mufflers for the catback systems I have seen are offset inlet and outlet. I think that clamping in a new chambered muffler would change the system's layout just a bit wouldn't it? I don't know if the change would be enough to cause any problems like your tips not lining up with the cutouts in your bumper, but I would look into it before jumping in.

You could go with another straight through design muffler such a magnaflow.

Yeah they have a straight through design. You could always get the lm2s or power flows and be 100% sure they will fit.

anyone know if the power flow slp mufflers have chambers and all that?? i bought my slp catback (the loudmouth mufflers arent mufflers they are just bigger pipes) and then an o/r x-pipe and together they make alot of noise but its essentially straight piped now and it doesnt really sound good for every day driver. any ideas????????????

The powerflos are still a strait through muffler, very similar to the regularmagnaflows... Quiter than the other SLP mufflers but also a lot deeper.
