Default Will I be ok?

I am putting my exhaust on tonight. Every friggin parts store I went to did not have the gasket for the passenger side midpipe in stock. Will I be ok using the existing gasket? I don't want to wait any longer to install this, but if I have to, then so be it.

Someone doublecheck me on this but don't they use crush gaskets for exhaust meaning it's not safe to reuse?

hrmm. Well, I'll play it by ear. If it looks bad, I'll wait to get a new one.

Very iffy man. I've done it before and had no problems. Then the next time I did it I looked at the gasket and it was ALL tore up. Give it a shot. If it's a really really bad leak, I wouldn't drive it.

i re-used the same gasket, and had no problems at all. thats was more then 2 months ago. i checked for leaks up there, and all is good.

Nice. I just ordered the gasket, it'll be here tomorrow morning. So I'll use the old one, and if it leaks, I have a new one to replace it. I am so friggin pumped to put this on. I'll post a clip when it's done.

That gasket leaks all the time on aftermarket systems . Use high temp gasket sealer the copper kind .

Just get one from Ford
Almost certainly it's gonna leak!

Well, exhaust is done, and it doesn't leak. So far. I drove it about 10 miles after installing and got the system hot, no leaks. Hopefully it stays that way. Oh, and BTW. Sounds wicked.
