SCT Tuner.

SCT Tuner.
I have an SCT XCal 2 tuner I got when I had my gears installed. The only thing it was used for was to adjust the speedo for the new gear set. Nothing else. I am thinking about selling it. May sound like a stupid question but how do you tell if its locked or not?I want to make sure I advertise it correctly.

RE: SCT Tuner.
If you plan to keep the car and modify it more I would hang on to it. It is one of the best tuners available, and custom tuning shops use it in conjunction with the machines they have to download the tunes onto your handheld. In order for it to be unlocked, I believe you must use the tuner to place the stock tune back on the last car it was on or it will not tune another car.

Well, it never had any tunes loaded onto it so I guessed it can be considered unlocked, correct? As mentioned, it was just used to calibrate the speedometer after the gear upgrade. Took the guy about 15 seconds. I don't plan on doing any more mods and I may trade it in next year anyway.
