Tremec 3650 Tranny Fluid question

Hey guys just drained my trans fluid and was wondering how many quarts to put in i put in four is that enough or too much i heard something like 3.25qts is this right, its a 5-speed to thanks for any help.

4 is too much. I put in the exact amount that I took out which was like 3.75 qts. Now I have heard just under 3.25 will be good enough.

Per TSB 04-15-6 Ford recommends 3.0L (3.17 qts) of Mercon ATF or equivalent, this reduces hydro-locking of the shift rods and detents to ease 1-2 and 2-3 shifts.[/align][/align]I also use the RP Synchromax--good stuff...[/align]
