IAC trouble
 
Hey guys, I did the IAC mod and now it idles high. It doesnt really bother me but I would like to now how to fixx it so it will go lower like it use to.

I forgot to say it idles around 1200 or a tad bit more and it use to be 650 to 800

1200? Hmm... Mine doesn't idle that high. Did you make the holes on the small or big side? Since my car does idle higher than it used to, I'd assume your holes are smaller than mine (mine were a tad on the bigger side while still being incredibly smaller than the original). If that's the case, you could try opening them up again. Worst case you can just make another gasket. If you're like me you have plenty left.

o ok, just make it bigger i can handle that thanks. At first I made the hole to big and it didnt work, then way to small and it died. then the third time it worked great but idled high and I got a scare that i stripped the bolt but I didnt :P

Yeah, you might have to try a couple to get it just how you like it. Luckily I got mine pretty good the first time I did it. Unforunately I didn't take a pic, it would have been a nice guide for people doing the mod. Just remember, you can always make it bigger, but if you go too big you have to start over. Luckily the mod costs next to nothing and unless you do strip a screw, you can try it as many times as you want.
