Widest tire for car and rim ( 10.5 )

If i get the bullit deep dish in the rear 17x10.5 whats the widest i can go on the rim and best size for car so i dont rub against anything and its a 01 GT it will be lowered 1 - 1.25 inches

315/35/17 is the widest you will want to go. I've heard of some people getting 335's but it took some work.
