Reverse gear grinds EVERY TIME!

Reverse gear grinds EVERY TIME!
When I first bought my car about 8 months ago, every once in a while when shifting into reverse, it would grind a little, but now I noticed it grinds EVERY TIME I shift into reverse. The only way it wont grind is if the engine and tranny never made contact since I start the car, for instance, never engaging the clutch before backing the car outta the driveway. Or if I hold the clutch down for like 10 seconds or so to allow the input shaft to slow down or even stop before putting it in reverse, in which I look retarded waiting in the middle of the parking lot for the damn input shaft to slow down.
If I were to just drop it in reverse normally, I would have to push down hard on it to manually slow down the shaft and let it slide into gear, which obviously sounds like "KCHREAAAAAKHREAKKKKKKLCKCK!!!"and you got the whole world thinkin you either don't know how to drive a manual, or your car is fuked up. LOL.
So is there ANYTHING besided waiting, that I can do to stop this, or even reduce it? Does reverse even have synchros? I heard that it doesn't and if thats the case, I might need a tranny rebuild sooner or later!

same problem here...just put it into first before reverse, like everyone is saying it will just become habit and you won't even realize yourself doing it after a few weeks

I always just put it into first quickly before reverse. It just became a habit and I don't even think about it anymore.
