Ok so on monday I will be going to pick up my 04 Screaming Yellow Mustang GT. Sooo now what I want to know is what mods do you think are necessary to start out with?

Also I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a short shifter?

Gears and exhaust....3.73's or 4.10's are good to start with. Look into replacing the entire exhaust....headers, mid-pipe, and cat-back. You will see good hp gains from exhaust mods.

will you void your warranty if you mod anything besides the cat-back as far as the exhaust system goes?

Congrats on the yellow GT. I got the same 04 yellow GT, and I cant tell you how many looks and compliments I get day to day with this car. I am more than happy with mine and already installed a flowmaster am thunder cat back. I am doing gears next than maybe a mid pipe and a programmer. Next year will come the more in depth mods when I have more money to spend. If the tax return is good enough, I may look into getting a SC kit and make some real power. Again, congrats. I hope you like the attention you will be getting.

I'm used to the attention right now I drive a Scion xB so I get the looks all the time.
