Hey guys!

I went to a local speed shop to talk to them about gears, but his is what they told me about the speedo.

They said they couldn't use a speedo gear on my car (1998 GT Auto ) and that they'd have to use a tuner. I though that was only the 99+'s... He said it was b/c it was an auto and it was electronically controlled....

Is this true, do I need a tuner or Can they do a speedo gear...
