Can anyone direct me to the best kit and buck value on a 4.10 gears kit, I found some on summitracing.com but I'm just seeing if there's anything better out there that won't be as strenious on the wallet. thanks guys!

I believe American Muscle has about the best price you will find. When you say "Kit" do you mean with bearings and everything, or just the gear set?

50resto.com had the absolute best price on FRPP gears when I was shopping a couple months ago, but they were out of stock then. They didn't have full kits with bearings and oil if I remember right, though.

sorry to jack the thread, but im also in the market for gears. i just got off the phone with 50resto and now i'm sort of confused. on all other sites there are motive gears and FRPP gears. on 50resto they have FRPP and Ford. the guys told me they're FRPP gears are motives and Ford is made in house by Ford. is this information true, or are they just refering to motive gears as Ford Racing and FRPP gears as Ford? anyone have any info on this or ordered from 50resto?

also, brothers performance has frpp 4.10's for $209.99

Ford outsources most drivetrain components, I would not surprised if both the Ford and FRPP branded gears are actually made by Motive...

I was reffering to bearings and chims and gaskets, is a speedo correcter really neccessary?
