Thrush glasspacks

Had 25" Thrush glasspacks put on today and sound surprisingly good!! BBK catted midpipe didnt sound too good with Flow 40's so at BBK suggestion put on straight thru insted of chambered. Hardly any resonance and about same volume for $60! Flows sounded better on stock H pipe. Packs arent poppy at all . Think alot people dis glasspacks because they dont cost enough or were crappy glasspacks they heard. Wish had way post sound clip. Even Mustang guy welded them on was surprised how they sounded.

I'll agree, though my experience was withmy old 2005Ford F150, I have since traded it, but I had dual 18" glasspacks on it and it sounded great, no drone, got lots of compliments and people were always surprised they were just glasspacks. A lot of these forums have people dising on glasspacks in one thread then the next they are praising Magnapacks?? Makes no sense to me.

ik right, they are basically the same. Magnapacks are essentially "high quality" glasspacks, in that they are stainless steel.

Thrush also makes stainless packs now but they arent cheap! Those who dont know, Thrush is made by WALKER/DYNOMAX.

Glass packs get a bad name b/c of Stupid Rednecks with loud ass trucks. As long as it's a quality product, they are NICE!
