Default tire pressure

alright guys i know this doesnt exactly belong here, but what is the recomended tire pressure for a 245/45/17 tire?

The recomended pressure on the goodyear tires on my car is 44 psi. I am currently runnin 40 in them.

44 PSI are yoiu serious??!? That's a TON of air, your tires must be ballooning like crazy. What exact tire are you running with? And remember you don't look at the tires sidewall for the air pressure requirement you look in the cars owners manual. Its all based on weight of the vehicle & carrying capacity etc..

I've gone through life pretty much always putting around 32-35(max!) PSI in every car I've owned.

30 psi



the 44 psi means its an "extra load" tire, thats the maximum amnt you want to run, it means you can do a little towing in your 4x4 new edge
