Default 2003 cobra hood

I have a 2001 cobra with a Roush stage 3 bumper, Im probably going to be getting an 03 Cobra bumper this week but have heard that it wont fit right. Is this true and if so can it be fixed??? Other than getting an 03 cobra bumper?

I must see pics... and do you mean your geting a 03 cobra hood? Or are you replacing your roush bumper with a cobra bumper?

The hood is a little longer I beleive... might stick out an inch give or take... nothing noticeable though...

I have a stage 3 roush bumper on the car now... Im getting an 03 cobra hood... heard that the hood is shorter than other years and wont look right... wondering if this goes for roush bumpers as well...

There is a company that is making 2 sizes of the 03 Cobra hood, the stock lenth and the one needed to not have a gap between a non 03 Cobra bumper...i just don't remember what company it was. Post on Stangnet in the 4.6 area i think thats where i saw it.

The Cobra hood is a little bit SHORTER than the GT hood. In order to fix this, I have heard of people adding to the bumper columns on each side of the grille. You could also look into the hood mentioned by droptop above.

Here is a 03 cobra hood with a GT bumper. Its not a Roush bumper but it should give you a rough idea. In person the gap is obvious on mine from say, just about every angle!
Time for a cobra bumper
