Default Broke AGAIN!

Well this is becoming a weekly thing. My car broke again, this time in a shoping center parking lot. I was pulling out of a spot and my clutch went to the floor and the car was stuck in reverse. I turned it off and pushed it into a spot. I popped the hood and my clutch cable is kinked up by the firewall adjuster. How the hell that happened only God knows. I didn't even have it tight. I have pics I will try to put up but they were taken on my phone and aren't very good.

btw I have an after market adjustable cable with quadrant and firewall adjuster. If this has happend to anyone how did you fix it? Did you just replace the whole cable or was it something else that went bad?

Here is a pic.

Yeah I still owe like 9 on mine. I just got it Jan. of 2006. I'm gonna order the new cable and put it on. I have to get my car home somehow I guess I'll call the tow guy I usually use. He knows me by name and everything now since I have had my car towed like 5 times now. I would love to trade my car in for a Mach 1 or a Cobra. A Cobra would be a pipe dream but I'd love to get a Mach 1. I'll get my '94 Lightening back on the road (needs exhaust to pass emmissions) and I'll drive that for a while.

That's a bad karma car haha, but yeah, maybe your engine is producing too much heat, and making the clutch cable to bind up with the rubber/silocone...that's what happened to my T-5 66 stang, it happened to me about 3 times...when I was driving it as a daily driver.

That's what I was thinking cause I just got the LTs installed. It's my car but it's in my dads name for insurence purposes and I was talking to him about trading it in today for a new car (by new I mean used and price around 12,000) and he was for it. I am gonna sell my '94 Lightning which I'll miss but she doesn't get driven much to a friend of mine for 6,000 cash and use my car as a trade in. I sawa redMach 1 for 16 grand on autotrader which I could afford with the job I have now to pay the price difference. Everyone is gonna hate me for this but there is a beautiful 2000 blue TA WS6 with T-tops, chrome rims, and leather interior with 87k miles on it for 12,500 on autotrader. There is alsoa 2001blue TA WS6, chrome rims, T-tops, leather interior, and 6spd for 18k which I figure would be about 3-4 grand to finance after the sale of my truck and the trade of my car. I love mustangs it's just Ican't afford the fast ones, ie Mach 1s and Cobras.
