Default Clutch Problems...

I just bought an '02 GT 5 spd. Last night I was reading in the manual about clutch adjustment by pulling up the pedal. I tried it and heard the click, so I'm guessing it adjusted. Now it seems that all the is in the top inch of the pedal. I liked it alot better before when the clutch would engage about half way up the pedal travel. Is there any way I can undo this adjustment?

Look up underneath the dash, over the accelerator pedal and you'll see the ratcheted quadrant and pawl--release the pawl by pressing itaway from the quadrant and the quadrant will snap back toward the firewall. Then adjust it the way you like it.Or better yet buy an aluminum quadrant and a firewall adjuster, and toss the plastic stuff in a trashcan...
