you have this

Here are the mods!! Steeda Cold Air Intake
75mm Accufab Throttle body
Accufab Inlet Plenum
SLP Catted X-Pipe
SLP LM Catback
Performance chip
Shift Kit
Torque Converter
Trans Cooler
4:10 Gears

on a 2001 GT, and you arent suprised you beat a 370rwhp Cobra???????

Where in the hell did you get 120rwhp fo free?

Maybe the cobra driver popped the clutch at 6K on street tires, blew em off till third gear, and granny shifted all the way

Thats the only way its gonna lose. Would take a ****TY 03 driver to loose to a GT with those mods.

Very true, but this comment led me to believe this guy doesn't know much about Cobra's AND I QUOTE

"with the mods i have anyway it not that surprising i dont know why people seem to think they are unbeatable... plus he was stock"
Lacking 120rwhp, a weight difference, IRS factor, and even a Sub-Par driver(not complete ****) does not = GT win

So far as the electric water pump, if I was going to run one on the street I would be hooking up a saftey setup.

What you can do is buy a little sensor that reads amp draw. It's in the shape of a circle with a hole in the middle (think doughnut).

They are simple amp draw switches. You would run the postiive wire going to the water pump thru it (the hole). The switch has two wires, run one to +12V (a source only on when the car isrunning)and another to a light you have mounted in the cabin somplace, and then from the light to ground of course. You can order these switches normally open or closed... you would want it normally closed. That way, it would glow if the switch went off (or aka the fuse blew/water pump quit).

Otherwise, you have no idea if the pump dies or not. Its not really ment as a street part (dd or not) as it doesn't flow differently at differnt rpm etc etc, but at least with the saftey you will have some information as to if its working or not.
