Default Panel only grill delete?

at 50resto they have a panel only mach 1 grill delete for $35. http://50resto.com/products.aspx?category=MGRILLE3. will this cover up everything else the 2-piece would, except making the delet pony-less? i think a completly empty grill would look pretty clean. what do you guys think, or does anyone have any pics? thanks

It does look pretty clean. I saw a guy yesterday with his completely grill-less. I would like to take mine out and put some kind of black screen toward the back. Looking for something like this.
Anyone know where I can find this grill. I've done a pretty thorough search and can't seem to find it.

i've read on here a guy bought a roll of black gutter screen from home depot / lowes and cut it up real nice and used black zip ties to secure it, may be worth a try (since it'll cost all of $5)...also, what do you think it would look like with the pony painted like a gun metal (for a black car)?

It would look pretty good IMO. I'm assuming you have a black GT? I was thinking about getting the grill delete and putting my spare GT emblem on it instead of the pony. Just a thought.

To answer that part of the question, yes. There are 2 holes that the piece will cover, and that's all there is.

ya i do have a black car. i can't decide if i want to do a delete with no pony, and if i do the 2-piece i want to paint the pony another color, just to make it different from the millions of silver ones. i have red diagonal stripes (kinda like saleen stripes) on the bottom of my doors and i'm painting my calipers red. i was thinking maybe a candy red for the horse, but i think that might turn out pretty gay, so i'm open for colors anyone thinks would look nice with my setup (or just leave the damn thing silver)

Either way you can't go wrong. It will look good one way or another.

I took my grill out the other day. I think it looks pretty nice/different. Btw my stang is black also. I most likely will just buy the only the panel and no pony. I don't want to look like every other mustang out there.
